Gellan Gum Project Introduction
Fermentation: Through the addition of produced seed and the necessary nutrients, at an appropriate temperature, maintaining a specific duration for the fermentation, qualified glucose enters the fermentation system.
Filtration: Following fermentation, the mycelium protein and insoluble particles are filtered through the filter while the bacteria in the fermentation liquid is inactivated by heating.
Concentration: To obtain the correct DE value, the filtered fermented mash is condensed in the evaporator.
Mixing & separation: In order to adequately precipitate the fiber, a specified amount of solvent is added to the concentrated fermentative mash, which is well mixed by stirring. After separation and precipitation, the fiber product is obtained.
Secondary washing and separation: In order to obtain the qualified Gellan gum, the pigment and impurities in the separated Gellan gum are eliminated after secondary washing and separation.
Dehydration and drying: To produce qualified Gellan gum products, the squeezer will first dehydrate the qualified Gellan gum before drying it in the dryer.
