Citric acid is the final product. To produce citric acid from raw corn to the final product. The process must follow some necessary stages. The corn goes through each stage and reaches its required quality after being worked inside the system. And after that moves to another step for further process. Dry milling is used for crushing corn and making corn slurry. The next stage of corn slurry goes to the liquefaction process. Maintain the temp. And the liquefaction, for a specific time, enters the filtration section. Filter the crude protein, and it enters the fermentation system after sterilization. Maintain a certain temp., exact time, and sufficient oxygen for the fermentation. After filtering, the fermentation mash enters the neutralization section of the citric acid production. After washing and recovering the citric acid, the filtered bacterial residue is mixed with the liquefied crude protein for drying as animal feed. In the neutralization section, adopt two times neutralization and filtration, calcium hydrogen citrate precipitation is obtained. After acid hydrolysis and extraction, primary citric acid is obtained. Through decolorization, filtration, and a continuous ion exchange system, the colored impurities, peculiar smell, and other impurity ions of citric acid are removed to make the citric acid achieve the purpose of refining and purification. After that, it goes into the vacuum evaporation crystallization system; after centrifugal separation and drying, the qualified anhydrous citric acid is obtained. The next stage is centrifugal separation to separate the crystal and drying. In the drying stage, the citric acid reaches the highest purity level. At last, the final product qualified citric acid monohydrate produced.
