Rice Glucose Project Introduction
Rice slurry adjustment: After removing the stone and iron, the cleaned broken rice is sent to the steeping tank and softened by adding water. The softened rice enters the milling section for grinding. After that, the melled rice slurry is adjusted to DS=28-32%, appropriate PH value and temp. in the adjusting tank.
Liquefaction: The adjusted rice slurry is liqueficated with the jet cooker and the aid of liquefaction enzyme. Two times of ejection are needed to get the better liquefaction effect. After liquefaction, the material is sent to the flash tank for cooling, and then to the next section.
Protein filtration, washing and drying: The liquefied syrup is filtered through the filter press to remove the impurities, such as protein residue and small amounts of fiber. The dregs are washed by the process water to recover the syrup inside. After filtration and dehydration, the crude protein product with high protein content is obtained by drying in the drying system.
saccharification: The filtered syrup is sent to the saccharification tank. The reaction is carried out with the aid of enzyme. After a certain time of reaction, the desired DE value is reached. After that, the syrup is sent to the flash tank for cooling, then to next section.
Decolorization/filtration: After saccharification, the syrup enters the decolorization filtration system. Decolorization requires activated carbon at the appropriate temp. After decolorization, the activated carbon will be removed by the filter. Then the filtered glucose is sent to the next section.
Continuous ion exchange: The glucose enters the continuous ion exchange system to remove the mixed impurity ions in the glucose through the cation and anion resin, so as to obtain the pure and high quality glucose.
Evaporation: The rice glucose is filtered through the safety filter and fed into the evaporator system for concentration to obtain the desired DS value of the product.
