Lactic Acid Project Introduction

Continuous elimination & fermentation: The certified glucose is transferred to the fermentation tank via batching and elimination. The certified glucose fermented for a predetermined amount of time following batching and a continual elimination process. The qualified fermentation mash is then created after that. The next stage of the process involves moving the fermenting mash.


Filtration: Mycelium and other contaminants are eliminated through filtering. Before moving on to the next stage, the fermentation mash needs to be cleaned of mycelium and other impurities. The qualified fermentation mash was obtained after the filtration. The certified fermentation mash that has been filtered proceeds through the next step.


Concentration: For the following section, the filtered fermentation mash needed to be at the right concentration. Entering the concentration system is the qualifying mash. The right concentration is attained after a specific amount of time. The substance is then processed further in the following step.


Acidification: Lactic acid is produced through acidification. Gypsum and lactic acid are produced in a process involving calcium lactate and H2SO4. A belt vacuum filter is used to filter the gypsum before it is sold to markets or producers. The elimination of mixed ion impurities and other excessive pollutants is necessary for crude lactic acid. The unrefined lactic acid is then processed further in the following stage.


Continuous ion exchange: Continuous ion exchange systems decolorize, deodorize, and desalinate in addition to removing mixed ion contaminants. The ion exchange mechanism takes out excess ions and other things from crude lactic acid, which gives it its smell and color. The mixed ion contaminants are then eliminated by the ion exchange system to produce high-quality lactic acid. Resin is placed inside the ion exchange device. Based on their chemical behavior, the resin's cations and anions attract the impurities' ions. As a result, the lactic acid reaches a high impurity level and advances to the next stage for additional processing.


Membrane filtration: Small contaminants are removed using membrane filtering. The dual membrane filtering system filters out the minute contaminants from the pure lactic acid solution. The purified form of lactic acid was then obtained. The lactic acid then moves on to the following area.


Concentration & purification: The purified lactic acid is concentrated by an evaporator. The final pure lactic acid is produced through purification. The final lactic acid product is obtained after concentration and purification.
